God is a very good God. I love Him deeply; I need Him desperately. There are two phrases I haven't really uttered from the depths of my soul lately. Even though the circus seems to be in full swing in my life right now, there is no place I'd rather be than hidden in Christ.

Today was a good day, a very good day.

I may not be necessarily emotionally happy, but there is the joy of walking with Christ. He is the God who sees. He is the God who has removed my transgressions as far as the east is from the west. He is the God of All comfort. He is the God who saved me from the miry pit. He is the God who gave up His Son so that I could live. Me!? He is the God who makes the lame walk again. He restores broken relationships. He heals wounds.

I'm content.
