This is for Rhonda as she puts of studying. =)

I had dinner with Rhonda last night. So, it’s strange. Many moons ago, Rhonda and I were in the same Bible Study (the Crusade off-campus women’s one). Most of our group graduated, and we left Rhonda behind. Suddenly, Rhonda appears this past fall at Berkeley Mosaic. Wow! We chat a little, catch up a little. I started attending a Mosaic Community group, and it turned out that she was co-leading the group.

So, yes, after many moons, we have been reunited. It was such a blessing and a joy to hang out with her last night. We got to be “the obnoxious people” at the restaurant. We had planned to go to Filippo’s on Solano. But we get there, and, um, it doesn’t exist anymore. So, we walk a few blocks down the street. We find this “nicer” Italian restaurant. It was so romantic (haha!) There were candles on the table. And then, suddenly, out of nowhere there was live music!

It was great to talk and laugh, and laugh, and laugh. I had a wonderful time. It was nice to catch up, talk, eat. But, above all, I really like it was a time of fellowship that was really moved by the Spirit. There was an honesty and transparency in our conversation and confessions to one another. There was an earnest desire to testify of God’s work in our lives. And there was a lot of laughing.

So, now, Rhonda. I have finally blogged. Granted, it’s about you. But, there you go!
