So, I was refleting on Berkeley, and I had some very profound thoughts....

Namely, the 10 ten places I loved to eat in Berkeley as a student (only Southside)..these are in no particular order...yes, I realize that i use the term "10" very loosely.

2. La Burrita
3. Ramen House (fishcake gook soo on a rainy Berkeley day)
4. The gyro place in Durant Square
5. Bancroft Cafe
6. Intermezzo
7. Coffee Source
8. Le Petit Cheval
9. Mario's La Fiesta
10. Espresso Experience (Teriyaki chicken sandwiches)
11. Gypsy's Trattoria
12. Anne's Soup Kitchen

Not-so-favorites
1. Orchid
2. Thai Basil (I got so sick eating there...)
3. Cafe Durant

I've intentionally excluded most cafe cafe places (like strada...)
But, I'm so happy, I've found an independently run cafe here in Baltimore about 10 minutes from my place. It's pretty big, good coffee, salads, skylights, local art, lots of free street parking, free wireless (big plus), and a view outside that reminds me of the Grand Lake area in Oakland.

Too bad I only have 34 days of class left!

blah blah blah. i'm procrastinating. I'll leave you with yet another profound thought from Grey's Anatomy:
