It's 9:30 am. I'm at work, eating a rather large Pastrami sandwich from Intermezzo. Gross, it's only 9:30. But, I'm ridiculously hungry.

I had a wonderful weekend. I haven't had so much fun in a long time. Over the course of 2 evenings, I had 56 people in my apartment. There were 20+ people over for Hideyo's impromptu good-bye dinner. Then, a truck load of people were over for Jason's surprise birthday. Marcia did a great job! I've missed inviting circus' over to my place. I've forgetten how much I love to play hostess and to allow people to have a good time. It's had been very, very quiet at our apartment until this weekend.

Seriously, it was great. In the words of Dean, "This is the life. The post-college life is tight. No gray clouds of CS projects or MCB labs looming over our heads. The only thing we really should do is go to bed at semi-reasonable hours. And, what, I'm going to object to sleeping?"

But, there were many hilarious happenings this weekend. One of the highlights. There are 6 of us sitting around late Saturday night. Dean is starting to fall asleep on the couch. Hideyo is wide awake telling us some story.
Dean: Hideyo, you wanna roll soon?
Hideyo: Nah, I'm fine.

10 minutes later.
Dean: Hideyo, you tired? Wanna take off soon?
Hideyo: Nah, i'm ok.

Another 10 minutes passes. Dean now has his eyes closed, almost totally out.
Dean: Hey, Hideyo, do you wanna go soon?
Hideyo (with eyes getting all big while yelling): Will you stop being a woman and just tell me what you want!!? None of this hinting crap!!

We all laugh. There's silence in the room for about 30 seconds.
Dean: Hideyo, I want to take off.
Hideyo: Ok. Now was that so hard?

Hilarious.
